GREATER LATROBE TRACK AND FIELD BOOSTER CLUB

 

The purpose of the booster club shall be to provide a supportive environment and financial support to the Greater Latrobe Girls and Boys Track and Field Teams. The booster club will also encourage sportsmanship, social participation and etiquette among participants, members and families.  This organization shall be non-profit, tax exempt (Section 501 (c) (3), non-sectarian, and non-partisan.  This organization shall not seek to direct the activities of the coaches or to control their policies, either collectively or individually.  This organization may cooperate with other organizations and agencies active in promoting track and field, provided they make no financial nor manpower commitments which bind our members.

​

The booster club will sponsor a variety of fundraisers and operate the concession stand for all home dual meets, the Wildcat Invitational, the WCCA Track and Field Championships, and WAADA Track and Field Championships.  The booster club will host our Senior Recognition Day party and End-of Season gatherings as well as other activities.

2026 MEETINGS and INFORMATION

​

The Annual Meeting will be scheduled in the  Center for Student Creativity in the Greater Latrobe Senior High School on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. The meeting starting at 7:00 PM.  The Annual Meeting also serves as the Track and Field Informational Meeting (preseason workout, physical exam and re-certification, in-season practice, meet and invitational schedules; Remind text Messaging, sportsYou app, and coach contact information). 

​

Board Meetings will be scheduled as follows:

     Late November/early December prior to the start of the indoor season.

     Early February prior to the Annual Meeting.

     Mid April (with New Officers and Board Members).

     Late July (End of Season and Fiscal Year).

​

2026 PRESEASON CONDITIONING and INDOOR TRACK

​​​

Preseason/indoor conditioning workouts for the 2026 season. Our preseason strength training workouts are in the high school weight room. Athletes must change into workout clothing in the high school locker rooms.  Please join (see the instructions below) the appropriate Remind text messaging class(es) for updates.

2026 PHYSICAL EXAM SCHEDULE

THURSDAY, FEB. 26TH, 7:40 AM - 11:00 AM

Before participating in any Track and Field workouts, physical exams must be completed and forms submitted to the Athletic Office.  Re-certification Forms must be completed and submitted to the Athletic Office.  Physicals must be performed by your personal physician, MedExpress, etc., at this time.  These forms must be submitted to the Athletic Office by Monday, March 2, 2026.
